1. Introduction & Acceptance

Friendly HR Professional™ (“the Service”) is operated by Friendly HR Professional. By visiting, subscribing to, or purchasing anything from the Site you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.

Friendly HR Professional™ is not a law firm and does not provide legal advice. Everything we publish — templates, guides, AI responses, calls — is general information for educational purposes only.

2. Accounts & Email Capture

You can browse the site anonymously without giving us any personal information. Specific features require an email:

• HR Survival Guide — the free email funnel collects your email so we can deliver the guide.
• Stripe purchases & subscriptions — your email is the key that ties your account to your Stripe customer record and lets us re-issue receipts or download links.
• Director Sessions — booking a slot requires a name and email so we can send the .ics confirmation and the 24-hour reminder.

3. Subscriptions — Pricing, Auto-Renewal, Cancellation, Refunds

Friendly HR Professional™ runs on four tiers. You can pick monthly or annual billing (annual is 10× the monthly rate, a ~17% savings):

• HR Assistant — Free.
• HR Coordinator — $19 / month or $190 / year.
• HR Generalist — $49 / month or $490 / year.
• HR Director — $129 / month or $1,290 / year.

Subscriptions are processed by Stripe. Both monthly and annual plans auto-renew at the end of each billing cycle until you cancel.

To cancel or downgrade: click the Stripe Customer Portal link inside your welcome email, or email friendlyhr@polsia.app. Downgrades and cancellations take effect at the end of your current billing cycle — you keep everything you’ve already paid for.

Refunds: subscriptions are pro-rata refundable in the first 30 days. Just reply to your welcome email and we’ll handle it.

Per-feature usage counters (AI questions, document downloads, catalog templates, knowledge-base articles) reset each calendar month per the limits published on the pricing page.

4. Digital Products & PDF Delivery

Our digital catalog includes:

• The $10 Job Search Playbook PDF.
• Individual templates from the Document Store.
• The Full Library Bundle — one-time purchase, lifetime access, includes new items for free.
• Selected PDFs and templates inside the gated Documents and Catalog areas for active subscribers.

Every digital purchase is delivered instantly by email. Once the file has been delivered to your inbox, the sale is final and the digital good is non-returnable — we cannot “un-deliver” a PDF. If a file is broken, mis-described, or didn’t open, email us within 14 days and we’ll replace it or refund it.

For security, every download URL is a 15-minute HMAC-signed link minted with your email and the product slug. The link can’t be re-shared, re-used after it expires, or used against a different file. The underlying R2 URL is never exposed in transactional email.

The Full Library Bundle is lifetime access — not a subscription — and includes new catalog items added in the future at no additional charge.

5. Masterclass Purchase Terms

Masterclasses are short, practical video trainings on HR topics most workplaces don’t teach well.

• Each class is sold as a one-time Stripe purchase, per-buyer, tied to the email used at checkout.
• Access is not shareable — one account, one user.
• Once access is granted there is no refund, unless a class turns out to be broken or materially mis-described. If that happens, email us within 14 days.
• HR Director subscribers receive bundled inclusion of masterclass content as part of their subscription.

6. HR Director Booking — Reschedule & Cancellation

HR Director sessions are 15-minute one-on-one calls with the Friendly HR Professional. Bookings are published as a calendar + timeslot picker on the /session page from the DIRECTOR_PUBLIC_BOOKING_SLOTS list.

• Slot booking is first-come, first-served. Picked slots are confirmed after Stripe checkout completes; a Stripe webhook stamps the scheduled_at, timezone, duration, and a date-scoped ics_uid, then emails an .ics confirmation and arms a 24-hour reminder.
• Cancellation & refund:
  • At least 24 hours before the scheduled scheduled_at: full refund.
  • Within 24 hours: we move you one slot for free, no refund needed.
  • Non-appearance (no-show): non-refundable. The slot is released back to the public queue.
• Reschedule: Email us at least 24 hours ahead of your original time.

7. No Legal Advice & No Attorney–Client Relationship

Friendly HR Professional™ provides general HR information and ready-to-fill templates. Using the Service does not create an attorney–client relationship and is not a substitute for an attorney licensed in your jurisdiction.

Templates are state-aware but always require your review before you send them. If you have a legal question, consult a licensed attorney in your state.

8. Acceptable Use & Confidentiality

• One account per person. Sharing accounts de-prioritises other subscribers and may result in suspension.
• No scraping, bots, or automated harvesting of HR knowledge, AI responses, templates, or any other content.
• No resale or redistribution of AI chat responses, knowledge articles, or downloadable templates outside a single end-user context.
• No reverse-engineering of the Service, signed download URLs, or any access-control mechanism.
• We may suspend abusive accounts at our sole discretion. We will always email you before doing so.

9. Intellectual Property

All content published on Friendly HR Professional™ — guides, templates, knowledge articles, AI response prompts, design, and brand assets — is © Friendly HR Professional™. Your purchase grants you a personal, non-transferable license to use the content you bought.

You retain ownership of any input you submit to the AI chat, the triage tool, or Director sessions. By submitting input you grant Friendly HR Professional™ a limited license to process it for the purpose of providing the Service to you.

10. Disclaimers & Limitation of Liability

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranty of any kind. We do not guarantee specific HR outcomes, hiring decisions, leave approvals, severance terms, or legal results from using our templates or AI responses.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Friendly HR Professional™’s total cumulative liability to you for any claims arising out of or relating to the Service is capped at the amount you paid us in the prior 12 months. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we’ll change the “Last updated” date at the bottom of this page. Material changes will also be announced via support email to active subscribers. Continuing to use the Service after the “Last updated” date means you accept the new Terms.
